Held motorcycle gear and clothing

Held has been making motorcycle clothing since the 1990s. Prior to that the company had been a specialist producer of gloves including motorcycle gloves.

Held is not particularly well known in the UK but is nonetheless hugely respected as a designer and producer of motorcycle gear. The company is synonymous with quality craftmanship, exceptional durability, and unmatched comfort. It uses all the highest grade technologies and components from Gore-Tex and D3O to Superfabric, 37.5 and Ripstop. Held's motorcycle clothing is immensely detailed, well thought through and well put together. It is very high end riding equipment at a sensible price.

Here at Motolegends we started stocking Held motorcycle gear in 2020. We now stock a good range of their motorcycle gloves and biking boots as well as a smattering of their touring suits and some of their accessories. We have also chosen some of the Held ladies motorcycle clothing which has been designed with the lady biker very much in mind.

Over its history Held motorcycle gear has exceeded the expectations of riders worldwide and continues to do so when they get to touch it and feel it. Try Held motorcycle gear online with free delivery and free returns or try for yourself in our Guildford shop.

Held Pentland trousers in black

Peter hobbs: Good quality trouser for a fair price

Good quality textile trouser, seems well put together, fit is true to size, seems pretty waterproof so far, and has really decent venting so should be good for warmer climes

Held Cold Champ glove in black

Winter_rider: Winter perfection and protection

I bought these Cold Champs years ago, so this is a long-term review. TLDR Held Cold Champs are the best winter gloves of the many I have tried. Mine have coped with biblical rain and never leaked. The visor wiper works brilliantly. Insulation worked down to zero degrees but needed heated grips when near-freezing. Gore Grip meant the lining remained firmly in place even with damp hands. They initially needed breaking in. But the clever design makes them feel more like a thick sports glove than a winter mitt. They are very comfy now broken in. Protection differentiates the Cold Champ. SuperFabric covers the entire palm, whereas other gloves generally have limited coverage. The pinkie finger has a double leather layer to protect against low sides. Many other gloves miss this vital pinkie protection. Knuckle armour is sturdy yet comfy. They lack CE level 2 certification but are reassuring nonetheless. The gloves are not cheap but last forever.

Held Score 4 gloves in black

Andrew: So good, I have two

Ideal summer waterproof glove which I wear most of the year except when it gets really cold. Picked up a spare pair in the sale. Ive worn these in a day of heavy rain several times. The outside can get sodden and cold in heavy rain but hands stay dry inside. Hence the spare pair kept in a dry bag to swop into after hours of rain They dry out fairly quickly if the outside gets soaked Conversely on the hottest days youll want something a bit more vented Great gloves all round
