Summer waterproof motorcycle gloves

A summer-waterproof motorcycle glove will have a membrane, but no insulation. Such a glove will keep the motorcyclist's hands dry in the rain, but will also be warmer to ride in than summer gloves because the waterproof membrane will also serve to combat the effects of wind chill. A summer-waterproof biking glove is the most common style of motorcycle glove, and some people will be able to get away with this as their only glove. A summer-waterproof glove is usually wearable from, say, the beginning of April to the end of September. But this is also down to the weather, and how the rider perceives temperature. On the very warmest days, you will be more comfortable, in a pure summer motorcycle glove. You wouldn't wear a summer-waterproof glove on the very coldest days, you probably need a winter motorcycle glove at that stage, but with heated grips some people do ride with them into the winter months.

We stock a wide range of summer waterproof gloves from the best biking brands. We have some particularly well priced and well specified Goretex Richa gloves, the every popular Rukka gloves, many very good quality Held gloves and plenty more.

Held Springride GTX gloves in black

Simon W: Held Springride Excellent Gloves

I recently visited Motolegends to try on some gloves after doing a fair bit of research. Gloves are such a personal item, so I wanted to make sure I found the right fit before buying. The staff at Motolegends were incredibly helpful, and I was able to try on three different brands. Once I tried the Springride gloves, I knew they were the perfect choicecomfortable and well-made, ideal for my commuting needs. Even though these arent specifically winter gloves, they will augment my Wunderlich Muff Cuffs during the colder days, keeping my hands warm this winter. Theyll be an ideal glove for September through April. I probably could have gone a size smaller, but they still feel fantastic. Im really impressed with the knowledgeable and attentive service I received from the team. If you havent been to Motolegends yet, its definitely worth the visit. Theyve earned my trust, and I wouldnt go anywhere else for motorcycle gear. Highly recommended!

Five TFX2 WP gloves in black / grey

Geoff: A real surprise

Light weight, supple and certainly waterproof. They seem a little on the small size, Ive deliberately gone up a size to a 10 to get little more room. Im usually a 9, these fit well. Although the fingers are quite long, that hasnt affected the great tactile feel the glove gives. Very comfy on a 350 mile day. After 3.5 hours of heavy rain they were dry inside. The rain just fell off the outside and there was no sign of them holding water. Really impressed. They are quite thin, so I expect the change to winter gloves sooner than usual. Surprisingly I prefer these to my Rukka Virium gloves.

Klim Adventure GTX glove in black

Rotiel: Super tough gloves !

Brilliant build quality but God, they take some breaking-in ! Done about 1000 miles wearing these superb gloves but still get numb fingers after about half an hour - very tight on the fingers and as yet, have not stretched to fit comfortably - a little disappointing after spending £ 180
