All Shoei helmets come with a five year warranty which, for most people, is how long you would expect the helmet to last. Obviously, that does depend on usage and care.

The sizing on Shoei helmets is from XS to 3XL and those sizes relate to cm circumference of your head. XS is 53-54cm, S is 55-56cm, M is 57-58cm, L is 59-60cm, XL is 61-62cm, 2XL is 63-64cm and 3XL is 64-66cm. However, shape is as important in helmet fit as just measurement. All Shoei helmets are ECE certified. Helmets manufactured since June 2023 must reach the newest standard which is ECE 22-06. UK specific helmets are not Snell or DOT approved. We know that Shoei helmets are expensive. But we believe that Shoei helmets are worth the money. The company has always tested to a far higher level than the industry standard. The helmets are manufactured by hand by experienced helmet technicians in Shoei’s own factory in Japan as they have been since 1958.

What we particularly like is that fact that all Shoei motorbike helmets can be custom fitted through the changing of head and cheek pads. And with the introduction of Shoei PFS in 2024, Shoei helmet fitting has reached a new higher level. Now you can be guaranteed a perfect fit on any Shoei crash helmet.
