Summer motorcycle jackets

When the temperature hits the high 20s centigrade it is normally time to find a jacket without a waterproof membrane. Basically, any jacket with a waterproof membrane is likely to prove to hot in even the UK summer. Even with vents, the waterproof membrane acts as a windproof membrane and will stop the breeze reaching (and cooling) the body. 

We stock a variety of non-waterproof motorcycling jackets from a single A rated mesh jacket suitable for urban riding to something like the AA rated Klim Marrakesh jacket which can be worn touring the world (or just the county)!

Of course, the majority of leather jackets also do not have a waterproof membrane (although a few do) but they are not necessarily the most breathable option for the very hottest weather.

I needed a jacket that was a bit longer and covered my lower back. The belstaff fitted the bill. Well made and a good fit and is quite flattering. Has plenty of pockets although my phone only just about fits but hey ho.The service from Motolegends as always was first class . Jacket delivered promptly and packaged beautifully. Granted this jacket is mostly about the style, but its is a heavy duty proper motorcycle jacket as well. I had been eyeing this jacket since its announcement, and already have the Crosby that I ordered from MotoLegends as well. The sizing on this jacket is just slightly smaller than the waxed cotton jackets. I am 58 and 165lbs, and it fits dead on with only a T-shirt. There would be no way to layer, or a thick shirt would make it very tight. Shipping to the US was blazingly fast.

Purchased the Commando shirt as an upgrade from the UH02 from Pando Moto. The quality of this product is top notch, the D30 level 2 armour included is a little thicker than the level 1 I had in my previous shirt but it stays close to the body and doesnt look bulky. I purchased the medium so its one size up from my previous but thats due to the type of materials used in the commando being a little less stretchy which is expected due to it being a AAA garment. Its comfortable enough to wear all day and for extra comfort a thin base layer can be worn underneath. The best thing about this garment is you can wear anything over the top wether it be a jacket, hoodie or just a long sleeve T-shirt and still have AAA protection
