Motorcycle Waterproofs

A set of waterproofs is an essential accessory for all motorcyclists. In truth, we rate the Scotts above anything else that money can buy. In the winter, staying dry is crucial, for all the reasons we have already covered. Feeling wet when it’s cold is not nice, but when that wetness causes us to lose body heat, we are never far from trouble. But don’t ever forget that a waterproof membrane is also a windproof membrane, so whenever we feel cold a waterproof will further combat wind chill, whether it’s raining or not. You should never leave home without a set of waterproofs. They can literally be a life saver.

Rob: Better than I could ever have expected.

I bought these following Chris' review, hoping I would never have to use them. But on our first group ride out the heavens opened and my HELD pants started to soak up. I stopped and donned these over-trousers - and to my amazement they went on over my boots and I was quickly dry and warm again. Sizing is as recommended - I went down one size to normal in the jacket and pants. How a waterproof material like this can stretch the way it does is not short of remarkable. Great Product I will travel with.

GRAY BUCKLEY: A Winner!

Got one of these for myself and promptly ordered another for my wife. Quality throughout. Fair price. It works. Stops wind and water, and its reflectivity is a 10 as well.

A great lightweight jacket that really helps keep the wind out on colder days - not used in the wet yet, but I expect it to work as well as the Scott jacket it replaces. Like the Scott, it packs down to a small stuff sack when not needed.
