Ladies motorcycle jackets

It is probably fair to say that the manufacturers do not invest as much time and money in to womens motorcycle jackets as they should do. It is probably harder to create flattering female motorcycle jackets than it is to create attractive jackets for men. But most manufacturers still offer two or three ladies' motorbike jackets in their ranges. Some manufacturers do this better than others, but by selecting individual products from across these ranges, we are normally able to find the right jacket for most people. Leather is a popular option for many, and if the cut is right, and if the leather is good quality, it is possible to find the perfect blend of fit and protection. But, finding a leather ladies motorcycle jacket that fits the ladies shape well is quite a mission. It is also true that leather will not keep you warm and dry in the way that a proper textile jacket from the likes of Rukka or Halvarssons can. For fit we find the Italians at Spidi and Dainese understand ladies shape well. And Klim clothing will definitely makes you look the part.

Here at Motolegends, we have three ladies who all ride serving in the shop who can help with your choice of a jacket. We can help find the option that suits your riding, works on your shape, keeps you warm and dry (or cool) and, importantly, looks good! We stock big sizes and small sizes in store so we can normally fit everyone.

Dainese ladies Carve Master 3 GTX jacket in black

Sue B: Style, Substance Comfort

The fabric, adjustable waist straps poppers on the biceps make this a super comfortable jacket that actually fits a female shape. There are vertical zips on the side seams to expand the hem of the jacket for extra comfort whilst sitting on the bike. I personally dont like the thermal neck liner because it is bulky, but removing this wearing a neck warmer still keeps you warm draft free. A really nice feature at the next is a Velcro panel to hold open the neck flap to circulate air during the hot weather. The vents pockets are positioned well, although the pulls on the zips to the storm pockets are a bit fiddly to use because they are so small and have no tags. Sara was excellent helping me choose the right jacket for my needs I would definitely try on the Daniese jacket before buying because the Italian sizing seems to be on the small side compared to other European brands.

Liz Evans: Beautiful jacket!

Wow! This is a beautifully cut jacket and very flattering when on. The leather is very soft and feels lovely!

Alice: Excellent warm weather jacket

On the road in Southern France heading for Spain. This is an absolute game-changer. Feel safe because of all the armour, but cool at all speeds. The stretchiness makes it super comfortable. I wear various underlayers to reduce the ventilation making it warm enough for riding in less Sunny places too.
