Icon motorcycle boots
Icon is an American maker of motorcycle protective wear. They make jackets, gloves, accessories of many kinds and, of course, boots. The styling of Icon's boots is quite aggressive, often with a slight retro feel. Think Mad Max meets Steve McQueen and you won't be far off! They are certainly different to the more refined and urbane style of most European boots. But they are incredibly robust; in fact, they are probably over-engineered, but it cannot be denied that they are made to last. The short Baja boot that we have chosen closes with a Boa system making them very easy to get in to and out of.

Ordered on-line and got the usual Motolegends impeccable service. Even my huge 13.5 size was in stock and with me within 2 days. The Boa fastening system is new to me but works brilliantly! I would be reluctant to go back to laces. These boots are so comfortable and more than protective enough for my riding! Havent used them in the rain yet but the membrane is well known so should be OK other than rain over the tops perhaps. I would take some convincing that the upgrade to Klim Outlanders was worth it. All in all a great short boot.

I have had these boots for 3 and a half years now and have done at least 20,000 miles in them and a fair bit of walking as well. First, the one and only negative is they smell strongly of adhesive or something similar when new. The smell is so strong they need to be outside in a shed or garage for a while until it wears off. I thought there would be an issue with not having a gearchange pad, but there is no visible wear at all and 20k miles is a lot of gearchanges. The boots still polish up like new, are supremely comfortable on the bike and when walking. Would definitely buy again.

Lazy mans slipper boots easy on, easy off. great quality, comfortable foot wear. Look good feel good on the feet, long day walking in the boots can get a little warm, however one damn decent set of biker wear
