Held Professional bike cover 2

Historically, we have never wanted to offer bike covers because none of them seemed to be very special. Well, that was until we came across the covers produced by the German brand, Held. The company produces six different grades of cover. This one, the Professional, is their top one. In Germany, it has won just about every award and recommendation going.

It is made from 150 denier Polyester. The sides are coated with a 600 denier Polycotton. The cover is totally waterproof. You could use the cover indoors as an extra level of protection for the bike, but it has really been designed to be used outdoors. That’s why the sides are reflective for UV and heat resistance. And why it has eyelets to allow you to secure the cover with a chain.

A lot of bike covers are little more than plastic bags that don’t breathe. This one is breathable. It is also elasticated, back and front, to create a snug fit over the bike. It comes with its own bag to allow it to be carried more easily on the bike.

But what impresses us most about these Professional covers is that they come in six different sizes. The covers will accommodate bikes from about 2 metres in length, to bikes that are some 3.5 metres in length. Without doubt, you will find cheaper bike covers than this, but you can be confident that you won’t find a better one.
