The Richa Vanquish ladies jacket is, in some ways, a very simple jacket; about as simple as a motorcycle jacket gets.

 

With its stretchy, softshell chassis it's amazingly comfortable. It comes with shaped, D3O armour in the shoulders and elbows. Surprisingly, for a jacket this simple, it also comes with a back protector as standard. Under EN17092, it is rated A, which frankly is what you would expect.

 

The Vanquish comes with a hood. Truth be told, we don't really like motorcycle jackets with hoods. The hoods flap like a bees wings when your riding, and when it rains a hood doubles as a bucket. But the good news with the hood on the Vanquish is that it's removable.

 

Now what the Vanquish doesn't have is a waterproof membrane, so this isn't the jacket for the high-mileage rider who's out there in all weathers. More likely is that this is the jacket for the person who really doesn't like to go out in the rain. And as we often point out, it doesn't rain every day. But if it does rain, take a waterproof over-jacket with you. They're not expensive, and they fold up small. In some ways, a jacket like this will make much more sense for a lot of people than a waterproof one. A waterproof jacket won't be as comfortable, and on a nice day it will be hot and sweaty.

 

This is one of the most comfortable, ladies' jackets we sell. It is form fitting, and looks great. And it will protect you.
