Rukka Wiima jacket in black Product Information
The Rukka Wiima does a similar job to the Klim Zephyr. The Zephyr is incredibly fine and thin; so much so that you barely know you’re wearing it. But the material it’s made from is windproof so, whatever you wear it beneath, it will reduce the effects of wind chill. Now the Wiima is not a heavy or thick top, but neither is it gossamer thin like the Zephyr. It wears like a very lightweight tracksuit top. But what it does have in common with the Zephyr is that it is windproof. In the case of the Wiima, the outer fabric is lined with a membrane known as Infinium. Infinium is the new name for Windstopper. But the Wiima has another trick up its sleeve. The jacket is infused with Outlast. Outlast is clever stuff. It stores heat, and then releases it when the rider’s body temperature drops; and what this means is that the Wiima is going to be somewhat warmer to wear than the Zephyr. Warmer, but a bit thicker and heavier.
Specification
- Softshell-style fleece

Stuart: Wilma
I own a few different Motorcycle Jackets including Rukkas Forsair, and Nivala 2 for use at different times of the year. I wanted a thin inner Jacket to wear underneath both to get more use out of the Forsair, and also when its not cold enough to need the Duck Down inner Jacket that comes with the Nivala 2. I looked at Klims Zephyr Jacket but wanted something that would give a little extra warmth beside wind protection. The Wiima Jacket fits that slot perfectly. Its like wearing a thin track suit top thats windproof and will keep you warm. Sizing was spot on.
Rick H: Versatile
Wanted to make my Klim Marrakesh jacket more versatile as recommended by Motolegends by adding a Windproofshower resistant layer underneath. Thought the Klim Zephyr was a bit too flimsy for my needs so opted for this instead. An excellent choice, snug fit , warm and practical off the bike when touring. As the temperature is dropping Im now using it under my laminated jacket instead of the manufacturers original offering. Only downside - some pockets would have been useful!
