Richa ladies Warm Grip GTX gloves in black Product Information
We have had great feedback on the men's version of the Richa Warm Grip glove which we have brought in to the UK exclusively in recent years. So much so that we decided to bring in the version for ladies too!
There's nothing quite like it. It has been designed specifically to work with heated grips; hence its name. In terms of its construction, what that means is that there is no insulation on the palm. And what this does is allow the heat from the grips to transfer directly and efficiently to the palm. All the insulation - and that insulation is Primaloft - is on the back of the hand.
So what the Warm Grip delivers is the warmth of a winterised glove, but without any of the bulk. This having been said this isn't going to be the very warmest of gloves. Rather, it is going to deliver some of the warmth of a light, winter glove, without the bulk. If you don't have heated grips, however, this glove may not be for you.
Waterproofing comes courtesy of a Gore-Tex membrane, which means that it benefits from Gore's lifetime waterproofing warranty. The membrane is also a laminated one, which means that this is a glove that will not wet out.
The rest is just detail, really. So we're talking about a soft, jersey lining. A double wrist closure. Concertina banding for easier finger articulation. A large, soft, knuckle protector. Protective pads on the minor knuckles. Additional padding in the palm. Scotchlite reflective material. And so on.
We know this is not the glove for everybody. If you commute all through the winter, you might need something thicker and more insulating. But if you have heated grips, want to use them to the best effect, and value feel on the controls over absolute warmth, then the Warm Grip might just be the glove you've been looking for.
And we think the price is pretty good as well.
