Five WFX Skin GTX ladies gloves in black

The Five WFX Skin GTX ladies glove is superbly comfortable. It's softness and flexibility belies its proper winter credentials. 

Perhaps most manufacturers think that women don't go out on the bike when it's cold, but the fact is that there aren't many proper ladies' winter gloves out there.  There are very small sizes of men's gloves but they tend to have such thick wadding around the fingers that ladies find them incredibly difficult to have the dexterity they need on the bike. The WFX Skin GTX glove is made from napa goatskin leather with inserts of elasticated softshell for comfort. There are hard protectors beneath the leather in the knuckle area and on the finger joints, and a honeycomb palm slider. Obviously, it's a waterproof glove, with a Goretex membrane, but you also get a high-quality Primaloft insulation layer for warmth. This is Primaloft Gold (200g) on the topside and Primaloft Grip Control (60g) on the palm. 

This is a proper winter ladies glove that's going to be properly warm. But it's not horribly bulky and uncomfortable. It's still very much a women's glove.
