Richa Warm Grip GTX gloves in black Product Information
We like this glove a lot. There's nothing quite like it. It has been designed specifically to work with heated grips; hence its name. In terms of its construction, what that means is that there is no insulation on the palm. And what this does is allow the heat from the grips to transfer directly and efficiently to the palm. All the insulation - and that insulation is Primaloft - is on the back of the hand.
So what the Warm Grip delivers is the warmth of a winterised glove, but without any of the bulk. This having been said this isn't going to be the very warmest of gloves. Rather, it is going to deliver some of the warmth of a light, winter glove, without the bulk. If you don't have heated grips, however, this glove may not be for you.
Waterproofing comes courtesy of a Gore-Tex membrane, which means that it benefits from Gore's lifetime waterproofing warranty. The membrane is also a laminated one, which means that this is a glove that will not wet out.
The rest is just detail, really. So we're talking about a soft, jersey lining. A double wrist closure. Concertina banding for easier finger articulation. A large, soft, knuckle protector. Protective pads on the minor knuckles. Additional padding in the palm. Scotchlite reflective material. And so on.
We know this is not the glove for everybody. If you commute all through the winter, you might need something thicker and more insulating. But if you have heated grips, want to use them to the best effect, and value feel on the controls over absolute warmth, then the Warm Grip might just be the glove you've been looking for.
And we think the price is pretty good as well.

Robert Lindsay: Heated grip winter glove
Ive been looking for a while for a glove with a thermal lining on the back of the hand, but not on the front. I have heated grips on my bike, but can still get quite cold on the back of the hands! These gloves are an excellent solution, maintaining great feel, allowing the heated grips to do their job efficiently, and providing some additional protection on the back. Ive not yet ridden in persistent rain, but otherwise I have fully tested these gloves and they meet my needs extremely well. The visor wipe also works well. My only negative is the lack of screen compatibility.
richard: Near Perfect
I love the new gloves they do exactly what Kris promised. If youre in the city and have your finger on the brakes, you will feel some cold. Not enough to stop me really liking them though. The touchscreen function is not as good as my lighter weight Richa gloves, you really have to work the flat part of your finger to get it to function properly on an iPhone. They do fit snug on the wrists for me, so getting them on can be a small struggle, but thats more about fit than function. These are definitely my favorite winter gloves. Just wish the touchscreen work better.
Dale W: Richa GTX Gloves
Excellent quality gloves that exceed my expectations. Comfortable with a nice lining and no hard spots. Work well with the heated grips and for me easy to get on and off. Big fan of Richa gloves as their fit suits my mitts, these wont disappoint. Motolegends service as always is second to none.
PeteT: Another great glove from Richa
Been a great fan of their gloves and this new one specs for heated grips is fantastic. Nice feel on the grip, well built and good value - winner! Still cant get the touch screen fingers to work, but small, issue
Jeff G: Great feeling from a great glove
Having worn my gloves for a few months now, I find them really warm, great feeling with switches and controls on the bike. Heated grips are really effective, now need them on less or at a lower level. The only bug is that they fasten under jacket sleeves and not over, but no big problem. An extremely comfortable glove to wear.
Paulo Coan: Excellent Product
I got this gloves last September and I dont regret it, since I live in Vancouver Canada, which has a wet and cold climate . They are comfortable, really good on a wet day, works very well with the heated grips.
Steve: Great winter gloves
Bought these for winter and as I have heated grips. Work a treat. And when riding the other day in a monsoon my hands stayed dry and warm. . Perfect . .
Istvan P: very very good
I do not tend to pay attention to adverts much. However most Motolegends ads - i do, and for a good reason. Their reviews are far the best. So i wanted a glove that is designed for winter use, and also created with hot grips in mind. This one ticks all boxes, so i ordered a pair. They are absolutely perfect for me! The palms would transfer the heat of the grips upwards, to the top of my hands. Simply amazing. The feel for the bike is still there, ive got full control, yet my hands are warm. I cant do anything else by warmly recommend them
David Oram: Quality Product
Great service from Motolegends. These gloves feel very comfortable, and it will be interesting to see just how they perform once I get chance to have aride with them! Still, they look and feel like a quality item.
Simon: Great concept and performance
I have just returned from a 1700 mile trip to Scotland often in torrential rain and mostly 8-11 degrees C. I bought these gloves for the trip, to wear in rain, but ended up wearing them the whole time. They were completely waterproof, worked well with heated grips and being laminated they dried out well each night. It is great to find a glove that is warm on the back but with feel on the grip. An ideal glove for cool and wet weather riding. My new go-to glove for trips where any weather is possible.
Michaele: Not Just for Heated Grips
Im not sure why other manufacturers havent picked up on this idea. Simple but effective, I can have toasty hands but still good feel on the controls. I was out for around 6 hours last week work related in 5 degrees and was quite happy to turn the grips off once theyd done the initial warm up. This on a T120 with no handguards or wind proetction!
Kevin: Great winter gloves
I bought these as my fingers where getting really cold while riding, since buying these they have been a lot warmer during these colder and wetter months, Great gloves keep your hands warm and dry while riding
Ian Hindmarsh: Richa Warm Grip GTX Glove
I bought these specifically for heated grips although, ironically, the grips on my commuter bike gave up the ghost almost immediately afterwards. That being said, they are still absolutely fine for the daily commute. They are also perfect on long distance rides where my other bike does have heated grips. The one downside for me is the visor wipe. It's hopeless. I think the rubber may be a little hard. I've actually dug out my old removable thumb wipe again. However, still a great pair of gloves and I would recommend them.
