Klim Zephyr Wind shirt in asphalt Product Information
The Klim Zephyr is a very neat and effective bit of kit that has been designed to bring a touch of extra wearability to a mesh, or highly breathable, top. If you’re wearing something like the Marrakesh, and it’s a bit chilly, we often recommend wearing something like a Scott waterproof jacket over the top. But in certain conditions that might be deemed a little excessive. And in such circumstances the Zephyr will do the same job.
Worn inside the jacket, the Zephyr is a stretchy, breathable top that has a membrane bonded to its inner surface. This membrane is a windproof barrier, and will certainly take the chill off. Now because a windproof membrane is also a waterproof membrane, the Zephyr will also deliver a degree of water resistance; but only water resistance because the membrane is not taped. The shirt will roll up to the size of a tennis ball so is extremely portable.

Robin Foster: Great product, but costvalue for money?...
Bought one of these together with a Klim Marrakech jacket for a forthcoming trip to Spain. To be honest Ive yet to use it in anger, but I have used it for dog walking. Whilst not its intended usage, it nevertheless worked very well. On a breezy day on open moorland it kept the wind at bay, so Ive no reason to believe it wont be equally effective beneath my new Marrakech jacket. It appears to be a well-made quality product, my only reservation would be the costvalue for money, hence only four stars...
Mike: Perfect for Layering system
I purchased two of these wind shirts in the summer. One greyasphalt size large and a medium in the black. I take a size Medium in the Marrakesh jacket. This year I have adopted the layering principles rather than going for traditional heavier biker protective biker gear. It has worked perfect and these wind shirts compliment that. If it gets chilly I put a the medium under my outer jacket. On occasion when I have stopped riding for a break when riding with just a base layer or light fleece mid layer and its been a bit windychilly I have thrown the large over my outer Klim Marrakesh and its worked a treat keeping the cold off whilst static. Sizing is spot on.
Errol Berarey: Excellent mid layer
I purchased based on the write up from Motolegends, I am more than impressed with its ability to prevent drafts and keep me comfortable whilst riding.
Neville: Essential Gear
Really pleased I purchased this item, as per Chriss video this folds up really small so easy to keep on your bike and put on when it gets a bit chilly. Really comfortable too and stylish to boot -
Cliff: Klimt Zephyr
Perfect for layering. Just slightly bigger when folded up than the very thin Pertek type jackets but much more wind proof. Only downside like another reviewer said, is that its a pity it doesnt come with a bag or its own pack away pocket. Although I soon managed to find a little bag for it.
Keith: Extremely effective and light
This is the best wind stopper I have ever used, keeps me toasty. I wear it under my Halvarsons jacket during winter and it keeps me unbelievably warm. Does exactly what Motolengends claimed it did. Expensive but you get what you pay for. Recommended
HLemke: Very happy...
This is a fantastic addition to my riding gear. Great mid layer that cuts wind considerably on a ride. I got mine in 52 instead of my size of 50 so I could put it over my Rukka down jacket. But it equally fits under any garment as well, as it is very light and thin. With the elastic cord at the bottom, you can snug it up for the perfect fit. I also wear it when running as a wind layer which is also water resistant for light rain. Very flexibleadaptable jacket which is a nice addition to any gear, although it is pricey. Great quality construction as you expect from Klim. Would recommend.
Stephen Davis: Brilliant yet simple
This really is a no brainer accessory. Under a jacket it provides that extra layer of protection from a cold wind. I use it every time I ride and it allows me to stay warm, but not overheat on cooler days. Used sensibly as part of a layering system its unbeatable.
Roy: Good wind stopper
This is an excellent wind break and used as an under layer. My only gripe is that it should come with a mini storage bag, or like some other products, the pocket should be big enough to use as a stuff sack
Steve Garner: Just the Job
Beautifully light but very effective. Currently in regular use riding my mountain bike, but will definitely be coming with me when touring on my motorcycle.
