I purchased this top with the same leggings from Icebreaker, 260gm, as I ride all year round. These are without doubt the best quality, warmest and most comfortable base layer Ive ever used.
Rob Lindsay: Top quality Merino base layer
I have numerous base layers, mostly from EDZ. The Icebreaker however is in a class of its own. The weight is similar 260 to other I own, but seems to be a denser weave probably the wrong terminology!. Not only is it effective at keeping me warm, but it is a step up in comfort. The design of the lowish neck, and the slightly longer half zip are both improvements. These are expensive garments, but excellent quality.

I use this as a base layer in the cooler weather like summer and it is excellent keeps you warm and cool as the temperature rises and falls.

I have some other Icebreaker base layers, find them very durable and do what they are meant to. This half zip no exception. Im fairly slim with 37 chest, I ordered size S, same as my other Icebreakers. The size for me is fine, not really that snug. Body and sleeves are a good length. Good delivery as always with ML

I was already familiar with Icebreaker items and again this one did not disappoint.As usual very well made and super warm. i wear normally an XL size but with Icebreaker I always have to go up one size, just one little thing to keep in mind. Absolutely recommended.
