Helstons Trust jacket in black Product Information
The Helstons Trust jacket, shown here in black, is made from a 1.1/1.2 mm cowhide. It has been waxed for a two-tone, shiny and matt finish. This waxing also serves to make the leather more impervious to the elements. The Trust comes with a fixed, waterproof membrane and a removable, aluminium-lined, thermal gilet. As with all Helstons jackets, you also get, as standard, CE armour in the shoulders, elbows and back. But what distinguishes the Trust jacket is its extensive use of accordion stretch panels. These panels serve to make the jacket more comfortable and easier to wear. They are to be found behind the shoulders, in the elbows but, most importantly, up the flanks. What this means is that you need to buy the jacket as tight as you can. Also available in very dark 'dirty' brown. On this one you really do need to watch our video.

The chart is quite accurate, but you should be aware of the fact that with its thermal liner and heavy back protector in place, the jacket is going to feel quite tight when you first put it on. Over time the leather will give, and the jacket will become more comfortable. If you order one size larger than you would normally, the jacket may well feel a little more comfortable when you initially put it on. But if you were then to remove the thermal liner and back protector for summer riding, it might well then feel too large.

Simon T: The best leather jacket I have ever owned
I love leather jackets and have owned five over 35+ years of riding but none have ever fitted quite right, looked quite right or had all the features that I wanted. That changed when I found the Helstons Trust and was guided on the correct fit by Motolegends They guided me to purchase what was initially a tighter fit than I would have chosen, but I trusted their expertise, and after some wear it now fits like a glove and looks like it was tailored for me. The detail is superb thick, quality leather, removable liner, popper cuffs, lots of pockets, stetch panels etc, the quality is off the scale and it not only looks good, it makes me feel great when wearing it. Buying one of these is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best £400 quid that I have ever spent on a jacket... Do yourself a favour Head to Motolegends and buy one! And listen to their advice even if it sounds counterintuitive - they know what they are tallking about!
Tamas X: Helstons quality...
The XL size is just slightly bigger than what I needed, but I can live with it, no problem. I'm 178cm tall and 82kg average built. Other than that its a great quality leather jacket, superb stylish look, and all the protection parts included...
