The Held Ice Queen is a full-on winter glove, but it is not a thick and heavy glove. The chassis is a particularly supple cowhide. The waterproof membrane is by Hipora. The thermal comes courtesy of premium-quality Thinsulate. This is one of the most highly regarded hollow-fibre insulators on the market. It delivers great insulation, but without bulk. In terms of protection, you get a hard, knuckle protector, an extra layer of leather down the side of the hand, and a panel of Superfabric at the heel of the palm. This glove wants for nothing. It is beautifully put together; it uses all the best components, and it is supremely comfortable. The only surprising thing about this glove is the price. It is truly a  premium-quality glove at what one can only suggest is a mid-market price point.
