There's a problem with ladies' winter gloves, and it's to do with the fact that women, by and large, have slimmer hands, and longer and thinner fingers than men. Now this is not a problem with a summer glove; you just have to tailor the gloves differently. But when you add insulating wadding, membranes and liners into a women's glove, you can quite quickly reach a situation where the glove becomes too unwieldy. It's why really heavily insulated, women's winter gloves are often unwearable, whereas wearable winter gloves for women tend not to be particularly warm. Richa's Diana glove very carefully walks that line. The Gore-Tex membrane is bonded to the surface of the glove. This reduces the possibility of wetting out. It also gives the Diana’s extra feel and less bulk. Whilst, For warmth, Richa uses the highest quality Primaloft. The result is a glove that's pretty darned warm, but still nice to ride in. The rest of the spec. is typical Richa. Nyspan textile material on the back of the hand; leather in the palm. Two Velcro adjusters at the wrist. Richa's website states that the knuckle protection on these gloves is by D30, but categorically it is not. Their website also states that these gloves contain Thinsulate, but they don't; they contain Primaloft. This is of no great import. We merely make these observations to avoid confusion. Here at Motolegends we have struggled to find really nice, really warm, women's winter gloves. We think the Dianas are right up with the very best.
