D3O armour | D3O protectors | D3O Ghost

D3O was invented in 1999 by two British scientists and is still based in London in the UK. The product was first used in the motorcycle world in 2009. Since then it has steadily grown to become the body armour of choice for many top motorcycle brands as well as being the a trusted brand for bikers themselves. It is recognised for its orange colour and comes in many shapes and sizes. You can get limb protectors CE certified to both Level 1 and Level 2 and also back protectors in both levels. All these now come as a Ghost D3O option too.

Not all protectors will go in all pockets and some garments require Velcro to attach the protectors. Call us or email us if you need advice regarding what will work in your garments. 

D3O work with many of the leading brands in motorcycling including Klim, Rukka, Belstaff, Endura, Held motorcycle gear, Richa, and supply armour for Rokker jeans.

FITS VERY WELL IN MY EWAN MCGREGOR BELSTAFF LWU JACKET. A HIGH QUALITY ITEM.

D3O Ghost Level 2 knee or elbow armour with Velcro set

hin: Less bulk, more comfort

Compared to older school armour, these make gear feel more comfortable, less motorcycle-ish. Level 2 is a bonus. That said, do note that the velcro strip is on the black and not the orange side.

D3O level 1 chest protector

I bought these to replace the chest protector in my Revit Nucleus jacket. The Revit chest protector was bulky in comparison. This D3O fitted perfectly and was only half the thickness. Adds some more room when wearing leathers over it.
