Moto Skiveez | Padded shorts for motorcyclists

It was Motolegends that first brought Moto-Skiveez to the UK, having come across the owner and inventor, Shawn Lupcho, at an American motorcycle trade show in 2013. Shaun had been a competitive cyclist for 20 years, but he was also an avid motorcyclist, and so he wanted to bring the technology employed in padded cycle shorts to the world of motorcycling. To which end, he worked closely with the TMF research facility in Verona. The company produces three main padded shorts for the different genres of motorbiking, with the padding being different thicknesses and positions depending on the pressure points when you are riding. One style is for adventure riders on sit-up bikes, one for laid-back cruiser bikers, and one for more sports-orientated racing machines. All we can say is that they work, and can make long rides a much more comfortable experience. They not only have padding in crucial areas, they also help to wick away sweat and keep you dry. Moto Skiveez has now added a pair of padded shorts designed specifically for ladies to their product range.

Dodger: Bum and Lower Back Protection

Have had a lower back problem for YEARS. I have used cheap cycling shorts with a waistband and quality shorts, but these have shoulder straps. The Skiveez are intended for motorcyclists. They are uncomfortable when first put on. The pad seems to be to big, but when riding they improve life CONSIDERABLY! I have Z400 with a basic suspension and I ride a lot on crappy back roads. Appreciated Seans honest and helpful video

Bill: Does the biz

Done 2000 miles in 2 weeks in them. The last time I did this mileage I had saddle sore for 2 weeks. Had the expected muscle soreness from sitting in the seat for so long but no saddle sore. Dont recommend wearing knickers under them, the seams caused a little chafing, not the faultof the skivees.
