Spidi Metromover jacket in blue Product Information
The Spidi Metromover is the epitome of the motorcycle jacket that looks nothing like a motorcycle jacket. It is an easy-to-wear, super-comfortable jacket that, whilst not for everybody, will be perfect for some. The chassis of the jacket is a soft shell material but, quite uniquely, the soft shell is laminated to a windproof membrane which, in turn, is laminated to a micro-fleece lining. This is going to make the jacket quite warm in cool weather, although clearly it is no full-on, winter jacket. The internal liner is actually the waterproof membrane. So this will be a reasonably waterproof jacket, but it would not be the jacket to wear in really heavy rain or in a prolonged downpour; and that’s because the soft shell material is naturally absorbent. In terms of armour, the Metromover comes with Level 1 armour in the elbows and shoulders. A back protector can be attached to the lining.
The jacket has a removable hood, elasticated cuffs, an elasticated hem, large patch pockets on the front, reflective detailing front and back, and two waterproof internal pockets. So who is this jacket aimed at? Well nobody in particular and everybody. It would make a cool jacket for an urban commuter. It would be a great jacket for anybody who wanted something light and easy for popping down the road. And it would probably be perfect for the guy just starting out his biking career. It is a classic, throw-on jacket. It’s like the Halvarssons Lysvik, but much cooler!

Paul: Good throw on jacket.
Simple throw on for casual rides.Warm and comfortable. Really like the big hand warming pockets in the sides which hold your gloves whilst refuelling etc. Dont notice the shoulder and elbow protectors while riding. Would recommend. Cheers.
Paul: Cheap, comfortable jacket.
Good value for money at this price. For short commutes or weekend rides, this is great. Size for me was slightly bigger than the chart.
