The adaptor allows you to convert any Sena comms into one that works with Mesh technology. So, rather than connecting by Bluetooth, you can then connect via Mesh with all the advantages that comes with. The main advantage is with multiple riders - Mesh allows almost limitless amount of users and also a more stable connections as it searches to reattach any lost connections once they are back in range.
The adaptor is easy to use and easy to install.
