Rik: Just what i was looking for.......
But i didnt know it! Like another reviewer, was looking for a layer to go over my knox Zepher, and was probably overthinking what i needed. Down jacket? Soft shell? Combo of both?? The Aldrich came up opn sale on another popular website at a great price and with ML super price match -10 offer snagged a proper bargain! Very windproof at sensible speeds not tested on mway! ,pockets aplenty, looks cool, and will look equally good off the bike. Not tested it in the rain, and not looking to on purpose but sure it will hold up in a light shower. Sized up to an XL to go over the Knox. Nice bit of kit with Rukka quality

Bought this jacket for everyday use and walking the dog. Went a size up bigger than usual as normal clothing would be worn underneath. Really pleased with it overall. Works ok with the Klim Carlsbad jacket too - in my case.

I bought this to replace a Halvarssons hooded jacket that was showing its age after 10 years. The Aldrich is everything you expect from Rukka well built, cozy and windproof, also really good value at this price. A good fit in my usual XL, its getting plenty of use in this cold snap.

Bought this as a windproof fleece for normal use as well as wearing under bike jacket if needed - its very comfortable although never being too sure on sizes i bought 1 size up from normal but i think my normal XL size would have been fine.
