Nick: Does what it saus on the tin.
I recently did a near 400 miles in temperatures into the low 30s C, with me the gloves protected from much of the wind behind the fairing of an R1250RT. I was sweating buckles. The gloves remained comfortable throughout and the mesh bit did its job. One other comment, despite what was essentially 8hrs riding and me sweating constantly , not a hint of any dye on my hands.
