Rokker Chino in sand Product Information
Rokker’s single-layer chinos are the best that money can buy. No contest. They're made from Dynatec and deliver an amazing 'slide' time of over six seconds, making them around 50% more abrasion resistant than leather. But, in the weaving, the material is treated for waterproofing, and although we would never call these chinos proper waterproof pants, they will more than stand up to a strong shower.
They also look smart enough to be worn into the most formal of offices.
Specification
- 14oz Scholler Dynatec single layer fabric
- Slim fit Mesh lining for breathability

Paul B.: Rokker quality and superb service
Admittedly, I only bought these trousers when they were reduced, but I did buy the black ones too at full price a good while ago. Buying a second pair albeit in beige should suggest to the reader how good I think these are as an alternative to say, leather. They are too heavy for full-on summer use, but they can be worn pretty much the rest of the year with appropriate base layer in winter of course. For me, a go-to commuter trouser. The inside protective material might get in the way of long boots in particular - can be a bit of a faff - but tolerable. Whats more, I received great service from Motolegends with these trousers - their arrangement of a quality alteration to the leg length, for instance. Generally, I find this company a pleasure to buy from, and I have bought a number of items over the years with consistent high levels of service. If they make a mistake, which happens rarely in my experience, they do their best to put it right. In fact, for customer service, I have not found anywhere, this side of the pond, who can better them. Now theres a challenge

Brendan: Stunning
These are a cracking, smart alternative to a pair of jeans. They look great, feel great on and clearly are top quality which will hopefully give all the protection you need if the worst happens. Highly recomended you if you want to look and feel good without a compromise in safety.
Carlos LL: Long Term Review
Purchased these approximately 4 years ago. No obvious, visual ageing. Always very comfortable. Ridden through showers and heavy rain less than say 30mins and remained dry. Inserting the knees protectors is tricky but now I know the trick its easy. just place a piece of A4 cut paper first into the pocket. Position the protector on top. Slide the paper out and job done as they day ridden them to South of France in very hot weather and still comfortable for me. Washed them probably 10 times and they still seem to keep me dry. I keep saying I need to buy another pair in another colour at some point. My favourite trousers even over my leather trousers. Going to the highlands later this year so will take them to wear maybe is the weather looks ok ie, No torrential long down pours
Martin: Did their job
I just got knocked-off my bike wearing these. It was in town at low speed Id guess maybe 20 - 25 mph. They worked perfectly. Im in better shape than the bike. I knock a star off because the pockets for the knee armour are way over-sized for any armour Ive ever seen, and need stitching to fit after purchase. But there again, maybe thats deliberate.

I had an initial problem in that I ordered the wrong size, this was swiftly corrected when I turned up and had them changed instanly for a smaller size, great service. The Chinos are a very good fit and feel great on the bike, my only concern was/is the knee armour pockets which are open at the bottom (inside the lining) and have not taken the existing knee protectors I have that well, they just don't cover my knees while riding. So I might now order the knee armour from Rokker to see if that makes a difference, other than that they are great! Haven't tried them in the rain just yet
Simon Dewar: Beautifully made
Just received these chinos tonight and went straight out for a ride to try them out. I bought them as leathers are a little too hot at the moment and these are fabulous and cool for a warm evening ride. Great fit, and beutifully made - you will not consider them to be expensive when you see them and try them on. Much cooler than leather and would be fine to wear all day. Motorlegands sent immediately and were here in NE England in <24h. They come packed in a very nice (OTT) wooden box with a free quality T shirt thrown in (pleasant surprise). Thanks Motorlegands!
Andrew Tobin: Mr
These are really very good. An excellent fit. Thanks to the crew at Motolegends for the length advice! You need them long when standing up to ensure they fit properly on the bike. Fit is excellent - they are properly comfy, even with the armour in. The fabric is thick and stitching is lovely. I also just found the zipped pocked inside the right pocket too - nice to keep your phone in there. Off the bike they look like very smart chinos. Coupled with a pair of brown TCX Hero boots they look very good. Not tried them in the wet yet...

A friend of mine raised his eyebrows when I decided to wear these on a recent tour, however they were brilliant. We encountered several heavy rain showers and the water just ran off the fabric, they were great in the hot weather too. Great casual style, proper Chino style pockets, nice little extra zip pocket inside the main pocket. Suprisingly technical and protective. Delighted with them.
