Waxed Cotton motorcycle jackets were some of the very earliest motorcycle jackets, from companies like Barbour and Belstaff, were made from wax cotton. Initially they were used by sailors. Today, wax cotton is very much in fashion, but it’s also very practical. A wax cotton motorcycle jacket does not easily absorb moisture. In fact, rain tends to run off it.
