Held Lawrence jacket in green / brown

The Lawrence is a lightweight, wax cotton jacket, somewhat in the mould of the Belstaff Crosby in that it is a mid-length jacket with four external, flap pockets. It comes equipped with soft and pliable, CE-approved armour in the shoulders and elbows; there’s a pocket for a D3O back protector. But the Lawrence is unlike Belstaff motorcycle jackets in that it does not come with a fixed waterproof membrane. Now the waxing of the cotton will give the Lawrence a certain degree of waterproofing, but the absence of a membrane means that it’s going to be so much nicer to wear and more breathable in hot weather. Our suggestion would be to carry a Scott waterproof jacket with you in case you get caught in a downpour but the Lawrence should be ok for 'get you home' waterproofing.
