Micro-Start XP-20-HD jump starter Product Information
We already offer the Anti-Gravity XP-1 and XP-10 jump starters. The XP-1 is going to be up the job on all but the highest-compression twins. The XP-10 is next level, and there’s no bike that it will not start. But now there’s a new kid on the block, and it’s the mother of all portable jump starters. There’s nothing quite like it.
Frankly, it’s a bit OTT for the bike. It’s about the size of a house brick cut in half, so it really is a too large for the bike. It actually measure 9.5” long, 4” wide and about 1.5” thick. So you could keep it in the car or in the garage, but it doesn’t make sense to take it with you on the bike.
But huge as it is, the XP-20 HD is still half the size of any equivalent jump starter/charger. Let’s take a brief look at the spec..
It will jump start almost any vehicle, be it a car, motorbike or truck. It will start a flat diesel engine of up to eight litres! It will also charge and power up laptops, and indeed any 12v devices.
The XP-20 delivers a 930A starting current, with a 4650A peak. It has a 24,000 mAh capacity.
Obviously, you can use the XP-20 to power or charge a whole array of devices. It offers super fast charging through two Type A USB sockets, or one Type C. In the carrying case, there’s a Type C to Type C charging cable. And a Type A to Type C charging cable. Also in the pack is a cigarette lighter socket that allows you to charge the XP-20 when you’re on the road.
You also get an incredibly bright torching with emergency flashing modes. And obviously, in the wallet, there’s a set of jump leads.
Listen, the truth is that you probably don’t need a charger anywhere near as powerful as this one. The XP-1 is impressive. The XP-10 is even more so. The XP-20 is more than just about anybody, other than a truck driver is going to need. But heck sometimes it’s good to know that you have a little bit extra in reserve. As indeed anybody who has ever owned a motorbike over 400cc would begrudgingly have to concede. Probably!
