Klim Latitude pants in stealth black Product Information
This is the new-for-2023 Latitude pant that, as you might expect, has been created to match the 2023 Latitude jacket. The Latitude is a road suit; it sits one rung below Klim’s Kodiak suit, although we prefer the Latitude as it is much lighter, easier and more comfortable to ride in.
The chassis is a two-layer, Gore-Tex laminate construction, meaning that it will never ‘wet out’. The main difference between the new Latitude and the old one is its additional comfort. Klim has gone to great lengths to make sure that this is the most comfortable laminate pant on the market. To which end, you get Gore-Tex Stretch above the knees, in the thighs and in the crotch. For abrasion resistance, you get 600D Cordura overlays on the knees, in the seat and at the bottom of the leg. Panels of goat leather run up the insides of the knees for better purchase on the tank.
The armour in the knees and hips is Level 1 D3O. The pants are rated A under EN17092.
There are two incoming vents in the fronts of the thighs. There are two exhaust vents at the back. There’s a large cargo pocket on the front of the thigh. On the waist, there’s a belt adjuster. You get another adjuster below the knees, and another at the hem of the leg. The pant also features areas of Scotchlite for better visibility at night. The pants comes in three leg lengths.
The Latitude is a super-comfy, well-vented pant designed very much for road riding. Manufactured by Klim, you can be assured that it is superbly well put together, and of course it is also protected by Klim’s lifetime warranty; although don’t take that too much at face value!

Mike Denning: Good 3 season trousers
My normal suit is a Rukka Kingsley. Its great but a bit too much for the summer. I bought a Klim latitude suit to fill that gap. These trousers are a very comfortable 2 layer laminated item of kit. They are vented well in the leg. When the zips are undone on the thigh your leg is open to the air and the breeze can pass 360 degrees around your leg. There is a useful trouser pocket on the thigh but I havent actually used it!! The problems are minor. Firstly they dont have braces and I like braces! But that was easily sorted by a local tailor! For some reason Klim have put their zip that connects the trousers to the jacket at the worst possible place. It is positioned perfectly so that you cant apply both hands, the zip is small and fiddly, and you cant see the point of connection unless you are an owl. I am getting better at connecting the jacket but I cant help thinking that a better design would have cost no money at all!! Overall a good suit!
