Klim Badlands GTX long gloves in black Product Information
Klim is just of those companies that does not do things by halves. Nor do they follow the crowd; they do their own thing, but we’ve come to realise that, often, the way they do things is just better. And we can see that in a number of their pieces that we offer. Their gloves seem to work particularly well. They can be spectacularly expensive, but they seem to fit superbly, and in terms of functionality they want for nothing. A case in point is the Badlands GTX winter glove. It’s a Gore-Tex glove, but it has a membrane that is laminated to the outer shell, meaning that it will never wet out. For insulation, it is padded with genuine 3M Thinsulate. The Badlands is also well endowed when it comes to protection. A Poron knuckle protector, as well as Superfabric at the knuckles, in the palm and on the wrist. One thing that we really like that we haven’t seen on other gloves is a neoprene gasket in the sleeve to stop water running down into the hand. Very clever. You also get two visor wipes, accordion-stretch panels, and a fleece lining. The glove is also touchscreen sensitive. We don’t think there’s a better, all-round winter glove on the market. There might just be a warmer glove, but for comfort, warmth, protection and impermeability we don’t think there’s much to touch it.

Mick: Definitely waterproof
I bought these to replace my elderly Dainese winter gloves that had succumbed to out wet summer. First time out in the rain of course they proved to be 100 waterproof. A bit tight but I think theyll stretch a bit with more use.
Chris: Great quality, sizing less good
Like all Klim gear the quality of design and construction justify the high prices. Sizing of their gloves however means a L is very tight and an XL too generous. I have broad palms but not long fingers, so wear a L in the Badlands for snug warmth but an XL in their summer gloves.
