This paired with the standard 200 gm long sleeve merino wool top is so comfortable and warm! Together there is no bulky feeling, the fit is great and its smart enough to be seen anywhere! I love it!

The Icebreaker 560 Merino jacket is a great piece of kit - very warm and less bulky than my Klim Maverick under my Stadler jacket. Wore it yesterday at 7C with a long-sleeve synthetic underneath and a Klim Windshirt also great! over - was just fine and the combination really isnt bulky. It is easier than putting two half-zip Icebreaker tops on as well. Also use it off the bike - just right in a cold football stadium for instance. Combines well with either the Klim Maverick or the Windshirt for casual wear. Will buy a spare at some stage, as prefect gear always gets messed around with or just disappears sooner or later!
Nigel: Icebreaker 560 Realfleece
Whilst this is not the cheapest warm base layer, I prefer it to my Klim large and Rukka XL fleeces. It is more compact and slimmer under a jacket. Is well made and fits me very well. I am 62, 15 stone with quite broad shoulders and long arms. The XL fits me perfectly with out being tight. Most of all it is very warm. Ice breaker products are worth the money in my opinion.
