The Held Rodney 2 glove is a simple-looking, summer glove. In fact, it looks about as ordinary and bland as a glove can get. But it’s actually pretty technical. It’s got a kangaroo palm and a goatskin upper. There’s a soft, knuckle protector. The palm is unlined; the upper is lined and infused with Coolmax for better wicking and cooling. The fingers and thumbs are perforated. There are a couple of Superfabric sliders on the palm. The glove fastens with a Velcro strap. So what is this glove? Well, first off, it’s supremely comfortable, but it’s still a a strong and protective glove. Gloves that look like this don’t normally incorporate Kangaroo, goat and Coolmax. This really is an easy-to-wear, lightweight, summer glove. And a superior one at that.
