For Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman’s recent Long Way Up odyssey, Belstaff created an entirely new collection of protective wear. Ewan rode in wax cotton and leather, but for Charley the company created a truly, high-end, technical adventure suit. You can find details of the amazing LWU jacket on the website; but this is the matching lower half. It’s got a Gore-Tex, 3-layer, Pro Shell chassis, Level 2 D3O armour in the hips and knees, Superfabric at the knees, copious venting, numerous pockets, waterproof zips, suede panels up the inside of the legs, an anti-slip panel on the seat and more adjusters than you can shake a stick at.
