TCX Drifter Waterproof boots in brown

The Drifter is what we would call a cross-over, adventure boot. That is to say that it looks a bit like an off-road boot, and has some of the enhanced protection that you would expect when riding off the beaten track. Yet it is virtually as comfortable as a touring/commuting boot.
 
The vintaged leather is oiled for added waterproofing and to give the boot a worn patina that means you’ll never have to polish them! But the real waterproofing comes from a membrane.
 
For easy entry and exit you get three ski-boot style buckles. Protection comes from an extra large shin pad. You also get counters in the toe and heel, and pads in the ankles.
 
There’s a gearchange pad, a cushioned panel in the forefoot for articulation and an elasticated band at the top of the shaft to the same end. The sole is aggressive enough to cope with the even the harshest, off-road terrain.
