There's no doubt that Shoei helmets are some of the best, and here at Motolegends, we love them. They have designed the Hornet ADV from the ground up to offer serious dual riders the perfect helmet for all parts of their journey. The Hornet ADV is a modern Shoei adventure helmet that offers the optimal balance between on and off-road function and defines what everyone likes about dual sport riding.  It has been developed to maintain peak performance in all conditions and does so without compromising the core values of a long distance touring helmet. Key features of the Hornet ADV are performance, aerodynamics, ventilation, functionality, and long-distance comfort.

The Hornet ADV helmets use Shoei's multi-composite construction shell called AIM, which employs carbon and fibreglass strands to create a shell that is very tough. This is the same construction that is used for high-end racing helmets. At 1600g, it is reasonably light and comes in four shell sizes for a lower profile fit. The EPS liners are multi-density to allow impacts to be absorbed and of course for us at Motolegends, the importance of getting the right helmet to fit correctly gives us great confidence being able to offer different sized cheek pads and head liners to allow for that perfect, comfortable fit. Of course, you can now also benefit from the Shoei Personal Fitting system to refine the fit even more.  

The air flow and cooling on the Hornet ADV is fantastic as the helmet it self has a chin-vent, a brow vent, a venting duct in the peak and two scalloped exhaust vents in the back. All Hornet ADV's come with a 120 pinlock visor in the box for fog-free riding, breath guard and a chin curtain. This is the kind of solid, robust, comfortable helmet you can expect from Shoei and a perfect partner to the dual riders out there. Of course if you adventure is more on road we might suggest you would be better suited to a Shoei Neotec 3!
