Shoei Ex-Zero Equation TC11 in white / blue Product Information
The Shoei Ex-Zero was first released in 2019. It is based on a 1980s Shoei helmet that was aimed at the off-road market.
This modern version is made from Shoei's regular AIM, multi composite shell which delivers a medium density helmet offering a perfect blend of strength and energy absorption. It's a pretty light helmet and has a pleasant lowish profile.
As with all Shoei helmets we can change the cheekpads and helmet liner to improve the fit and, since April 2024, can also offer the Shoei PFS (Personal Fitting Service) in our Guildford store.
The Shoei Ex-zero is a great option for anyone on a classic adventure or scrambler style bike. Or for someone doing some light off roading. It gives you very much a feel of the wind in your face but still offers decent chin protection. The Ex-Zero has a drop down visor which comes as standard as clear but is also available in yellow or smoke. The visor has three positions to allow for different noses! With the visor raised the helmet works well with most goggles.
In terms of a choice of Shoei adventure helmet there is the Ex-Zero or the Shoei Hornet ADV.
