Rokker Rokkertech Slim jeans in vintage wash Product Information

The fabric used by Rokker in this jean is called Armalith. It's incredibly strong; in fact, it's one of the strongest wearable fabrics on the market. On YouTube there’s a video of a Hummer 4x4 being hoisted by a pair of Armalith jeans. These jeans are more abrasion resistant than any leather or textile touring pant out there. But because there's no lining, they are incredibly light and easy to wear. Bottom line; if you didn't know these were protective jeans you would simply think they were a regular, high-quality denim pant. The Rokkertechs take D3O armour in the hips and knees. The pants come in four leg lengths, and as the armour pocket is fixed you need to order the right length to get the armour in the right place. Remember, obviously, that to be right on the bike, the leg length needs to be longer than it would be for the street.

Please note: Knee armour comes included with these jeans

James: Another Pair

My second pair of Rokker jeans after buying a pair of the Legend jeans in store recently. I wasnt looking for another pair but just browsing through the sale section I found these. Having just received a voucher code for an additional discount off sale stock the price became a bit of a no brainer decision. Im wearing these in rotation with my Legend jeans and it is hard to decide which I prefer. These are in a slightly larger waist than the Legends and fit nicely. Although they have the button fly that isnt an issue I have worn 501s for 30 years or so! My Legends are a 4030, these are a 4230. They both fit, the Legends a bit of stretch required, the slim vintage are spot on despite being 2 inches smaller than my waist size. I also have some Rokkertech waterproof that I picked up used. They are a 4030 and are a struggle as they have no stretch to speak off. The Legends and these stretch so are far more forgiving when it comes to size so that is something to consider when buying Rokker jeans. The only niggle I have is I wish the armour pockets were adjustable or had a hi lo position like the newer jeans. Other than that they are awesome.

Tony: Still very impressed

I wrote a review almost immediately I received these jeans as I was so impressed by the fit and comfort of the product after suffering with cheaper and very inferior garments. I now have been out on several rides wearing these jeans and can confirm that they are extremely comfortable and look like designer jeans when going to the pub after the ride. I can't tell you what they are like during an accident and hope never to be able to but I suspect they are well up to the job.

Tony: Finally!

Finally I have a pair of motorcycle jeans that fit me, look good, don't weigh a ton and protect me at least as well as leather. These jeans are expensive but well worth it when compared to other motorcycle jeans. I have two pairs of jeans that cost me half this amount, one pair I can hardly lift and fit me as well as a potato sack and the other pair literally fell to pieces after an afternoon of riding in the wet. These jeans fit over my riding boots and fell like regular designer jeans when not on the bike. Forget the price and get a quality product you will love.

Alec R: Best I could find

Having tried on several other single layer jeans, these were by far the best. Slim enough not to flap about in the wind, but not too skinny to pull over my TCX Blend boots. I am normally a 30" waist with 32" inside leg. I went for the 29" waist with the 34" leg and these are just fine with or without the armour and work both on and off the bike. These have been ideal to wear during this unseasonally warm British Summer!

Steve Hembley: Just "Wow!"

I had great difficulty locating a pair of "armoured" jeans in "larger" size. The staff at Motolegends were truly outstanding and went way beyond normal customer service in helping. I am a 44" waist and these Rokkertechs in 42" are a perfect fit, so do go down a size (or two). These jeans just feel (and look) like they are worth EVERY penny. They are fantastic! In the hot weather they are indispensable with rider comfort being a priority in riding safely! Thank you Motolegends and Rokker! I can thoroughly recommend both! (and these jeans)

Ian Johnston: Superb Jeans

Just reiterating what’s been said by numerous others. Jeans feel very close to normal jeans and look like an everyday jean when worn. ( I should say mine were quite faded on the thigh and not as ‘blue’ as they look in the pictures if that means anything) Again re sizing I opted for 31” waist with 34” leg. (Normally a 32” waist, I might have got away with a 30” waist but not an issue). Expensive yes and I’ll be paying for mine for a while yet, but I reluctantly have to agree that they’re worth the money. Highly recommended.

Chris Hall: Mr

I got the same size as my Revolution jeans and they did come up a bit larger around the waist but when sitting on the bike they fit really well and are much more comfortable in the heat. They came without the armour that came with the revolution jeans but they also came with a Rokker brand T shirt and a small canvas bag which will be handy when on trips. Yes they are a lot of money but I think the level of protection given is excellent and I like cut and feel of them.

Stephen Cockayne: Excellent

They fit brilliantly feel really nice on and I think they look great. I haven’t worn them on the bike yet due to the weather, but I’ve worn them out just as regular jeans several times, which I think speaks volumes. I don’t think the knee pads will ever get used as they don’t really work for me, but I am absolutely delighted with these jeans anyway.

David Bailey: Mr

The best single layer protective jeans bar none. Slimmer fit (but not skinny) so look great off the bike. I also have the revolution Rokkers which were a 38 waist and the same fit in the Rokkertech slim was a 36 waist. I bought the long leg size but even for me (6’6 tall) was a little too long. Because of the construction you could have them altered easily though. Wish they did a few more colours!!!

John Currah: Impressed!

These are extremely comfortable jeans, and feel just like a regular heavyweight denim. Much cooler to wear than a normal Kevlar lined jean, so ideal for warmer days. They do fit large: I normally wear 31" or 32" waist jeans, but the 30" are spot on for me, even taking into account the movement needed on a bike. The stretch in the fabric helps in that regard.

Fergal Power: Pricey but so worth it

Having owned a pair of Rokker Revolutions for several years and being constantly amazed by them, once I heard there was and even lighter version on the way i decided to buy them for a 10 day trip to Spain, where I expected to meet higher temperature than here in Ireland. After 10 days and 3000Kms in temperature ranging from low 20s C in the North to 36C in Seville (In Oct) I have to say i was very impressed.. Extremely comfortable throughout and appeared to be a little cooler than the Leathers my Friend was wearing when stuck in 36C and traffic. They are still not exactly as light as normal Denim jeans so don't be under any illusions but that's not to be expected, especially if they will live up to the claimed levels of protection. I swapped over the D30 impact protection from my pair of Revolutions in a matter of seconds and the fit was perfect. Like I say the Revolutions are simply amazing but i thought they might be too hot for temps above 25C so for summer months and summer touring on the continent I'll definitely be using the Rokkertechs. Fast delivery too.

Chris Campbell: You get what you pay for.

The first bike jeans I've ever had that aren't an uncomfortable, ugly mess off the bike. Eye-wateringly expensive, true, but there's no way back!

Fen T: Impressed!

My initial impressions are positive - comfortable, look and feel like a heavyweight pair of jeans. Much cooler than lined jeans or Revolutions in warm weather. I was pleased to see that the stonewashed creases are much more subtle than in the photos. A word on sizing - I normally wear a 31" or 32", but the 30" fit me perfectly: they have a bit of stretch, which helps. I haven't tried armour in them, but the pockets on the 34" inside leg line up nicely with my knees (I am a 32" inside leg in jeans).
