The Rokker Ladies Short Black jacket is, as the name suggests, a shorter version of what Rokker simply calls the Black Jacket. But, in terms of construction and materials, it is virtually identical. The outer fabric is 100% Schoeller Dynatec. It is the same fabric that the company uses in its chinos, and that, on a Cambridge Machine, records a leather-beating slide time of over six seconds. A Nanosphere treatment delivers a more than acceptable get-you-home level of waterproofing, whilst a Coldblack coating reflects the sun’s UV rays to keep you cool when the sun is beating down. Because the garment is unlined, it flows the air well; again a godsend on hotter days. D3O armour comes fitted as standard in the elbows, shoulders and back. Rokker’s Black Jakkets really are quite special. They wear like street jackets, and look like street jackets, but deliver impressive levels of protection, and more waterproofing than you have a right to expect.
