Pando Moto Commando AAA mesh jacket in black Product Information
The Pando Moto Commando armoured shirt reaches CE level AAA under EN17092. Now that is pretty impressive.
It is stretchy and reasonably lightweight. It has 3D Cordura mesh for ventilation in the chest and inside of the arms. Other areas are made with a stretchy, durable UHMWPE (15 X stronger than steel) material to aid abrasion resistance.
D3O LP2 level 2 armour is included in elbows and shoulders and there is a pocket for a back protector.
You can wear the Commando either as your only layer perhaps with a breathable base layer underneath or as an underlayer itself to a non-protective lightweight jacket. Either way this riding shirt cum armoured shirt will be breathable and comfortable in hot weather without compromising your safety on the bike.

Simon: DGR success
I wore this under a shirt, tie and sports jacket for the DGR ride to Chichester. Its a snug fit, which is what you need to keep the armour in place but it helps if you are slim around the middle as it initially feels like a corset. Im not a fan of thumb loops, but I didnt notice them inside my gloves. The collar design worked and was one of the reasons I chose this over the Knox version. Fortunately my shirt and jacket were large enough to fit over the armour, which included the D3O L2 back protector. Im happy to wear this mesh jacket under any less protective or non-motorcycle jackets, etc. Expensive but not a mistake.
