Macna Lava 2.0 heated socks Product Information
It is true that although encased in boots, our feet can be somewhat exposed on the bike. There's no screen, there are no heated pedals, and no fairing to protect from the effects of the wind chill factor.
The socks can be worn separately from the bike when powered by either a 7.4v 0r a 12v portable battery. But we are imagining that most people will elect to connect these socks to Macna's heated Centre pants which would, in turn, be connected to either the Centre or Ascent jacket, connected to the bike's battery.
The socks are made from Merino wool, and feature in the elasticated cuff a rubber push button that will allow you to adjust the power levels. There are four different heat levels. Or you can use the Macna app., which will allow you to adjust the jacket, pants, gloves and socks separately.
Just one word of warning. You will probably need to be riding a bike of over 500cc if you wish to combine a number of Macna's products together.
