Garagistes
Now you are the real deal; a proper, old school motorcyclist. For you the motorcycle is not just an object bought to impress the guys down at the pub. Your relationship with your bike is a deeper and more meaningful one, and although you enjoy riding a bike as much as the next guy, you tend to be more interested than most in the motorcycle as a piece of mechanical engineering. You're the kind of biker who would be happy servicing and fettling your own motorcycle, and if you had more time you'd enjoy spending it in the garage turning it into the bike of your dreams.
Of course, you may already be the kind of guy who spends a bit of time in the garage or shed, taking bikes apart and then building them back up better than they were before. You're probably not a huge fan of modern bikes that can only be serviced by a main dealer with highly expensive diagnostic equipment. For you that's not what motorcycling is all about. Unlike the guys who ride these kinds of bikes, if you broke down at the side of the road, you'll at least make an attempt to fix the problem on your own.
