Klim Baja S4 jacket in sage / strike orange Product Information
The Baja S4 jacket is a proper, off-road jacket for the rider who rides in hot weather and who generates even more heat when they’re riding. As you would expect, it doesn’t come with a waterproof membrane. You could wear any waterproof over the jacket. The Scott would be brilliant, although Klim would prefer you to use their extraordinarily expensive Enduro S4 waterproof jacket. The Baja is made up from large areas of Schoeller Dynatec mesh, which is super strong and flows huge volumes of air. For comfort, there are also areas of stretch Cordura whilst, for abrasion resistance, the most vulnerable zones are covered in SuperFabric. As ever with Klim, the detail beggars belief, with D3O armour throughout, extra vents, adjusters and more pockets than you’ll ever need. The full spec. appears below, but if you’re interested you should also watch our video review.

Terry Mcfadden: Worth the money without doubt
I thought hard and long about spending this amount of money on a summer jacket, though I am pleased I chose to invest in an excellent item. I have only done 1000 miles of a daily 90 mile round trip commute on GS, though in morning temperatures of only 10 on a UK July morning at 06.30 and returning in 28-32 in the evenings. Its been luxury, feels so fresh with no sweat or discomfort. Its light to wear, full of mesh of the highest standard and so many pockets. I adore the little clips on the chest area and loops on the collar allowing it to be fixed open on warm rides without the normal flapping about I am used too. The whole product is class. Yes its a lot of money for my UK summer riding but its so worth it and with the Scott over jacket for rain I can see this becoming my March- September wear so a little more then a UK summer jacket. I am a 44 chest so went for the large and it fits like a made to measure jacket. So £550 well spent and I have no doubt that some 500 miles around trips I have coming up in September will be made much more comfortable with this investment. Thank you Motorlegends once again you have made my motorcycling much more pleasurable Terry
A Sharp: Very good jacket
I was considering purchasing a different jacket and from a different supplier. The Motolegends review of this jacket caught my attention. It was great review and having now received the jacket was honest and comprehensive. I am a 40 chest and chose the M sized jacket. That was the right choice. The jacket itself is exactly suited for the conditions in the review. A summer weight - t shirt or sweatshirt underneath is perfect. In terms of design and spec - again I cant fault the review or the jacket. I know this is a rather uncritical review - however I cant find anything to fault the decision I made. And in case you are wondering - no I am not associated with Motolegends in any way. Never met anyone who works there and actually never even been to their shop...
Adam: Great jacket
Its like riding naked. Less than 15c you will freeze your bits off even it you wear a waterproof over suit. Over 20c its bliss. Well made, with maybe the exception of the zip that joins the trousers, that should be chunkier. Substantial suit and armour that fits perfectly. 59 tall 12 stone. Medium jacket and 32 trousers fits perfectly with room. Better than any other summer suit I have ever owned. Roll on Portuguese and Spanish TET 2022!
