Halvarssons jackets

halvarssonsjackets-header

Halvarssons is a Swedish company that specialises in serious technical wear. Their home town of Malung is known for its tannery, and the company's earliest products were produced in leather. Today Halvarssons has a number of leather jackets in the range, but we are of the view that what Halvarssons does best is high performance, textile products. Their jackets really work. They are comfortable to wear, come with high quality thermal liners, excellent waterproof membranes, and Halvarsson's own anti-abrasion panelling known as Hi-Art. Different models have different features, although most are equipped with excellent ventilation. For most motorcyclists, excepting those who ride every day through the winter, we think Halvarssons offers the very best textile jackets.

Dutch: Great Jacket

Well made jacket. I have ridden it some shocking rain storms and it never let a drop of water in. The storm collar is very effective at keeping out water.

Mike Austin: Lovely, Lovely Jacket

The look of this jacket caught my eye immediately I saw it on on MotoLegends website. I watched Chriss video review on the jacket which helped to convince me to buy it. These videos are always very good in my opinion. I also rang MotoLegends to ask them to use a specific courier for me and they kindly did that - so first class service again. The jacket looks even better when you see it - at least I think so - it looks very smart. It also feels more rugged than the photos would have you believe. I bought slighter larger than usual for me EU56 as I wanted to make sure I could get a heated jacket and base layers under it comfortably. So far, this has worked out well for me. I find the existing armour ok - but I may upgrade it at a later date. I have worn it a few times out on my bike now and it is really comfortable. I was out the other evening a bit later than I intended, about 1030pm with an hours ride left. It was getting quite chilly - even though this jacket held the chill off for ages. I stopped and put on the fantastic Scotts rainproof jacket - this stopped all the cold from the wind. - which proves that I can wear my Lysvik jacket in the coldish weather. I rate this jacket as first class as I do with MotoLegends service. I highly recommend this jacket, both for its looks and wearability.
