Bering Yukon GoreTex Laminate jacket in black Product Information
Bering's Yukon is a two-layer, laminated jacket made using a Gore-tex Performance Shell material. When you buy a Gore-tex laminated jacket, you not only get the benefit of what is probably the best membrane on the market, you also get the benefit of Gore's expertise in the construction of laminated garments, because every garment that uses their membranes has to be inspected and approved by Gore. It is this level of scrutiny that allows Bering to give the Yukon a five-year warranty. The Yukon is a long jacket, it comes with CE armour in the elbows and shoulders, and is equipped with a removable, 90g. aluminium-coated thermal liner. Pockets abound, as do vents and volume adjusters. The Yukon is similar in design to Bering's Balistik jacket. It is more expensive, but this is only what you would expect of a Gore-tex laminated product. This having been said, we still think that given where it's membrane comes from, it represents outstanding value.

Ian Nicholson: Mr
I am returning to biking after 16 years so had no kind of brand loyalty influencing my choices of riding gear. I chose this jacket primarily because it fitted me really well (I'm 5'7" and small) and it seemed well made. I haven't been disappointed. It is very comfortable to wear on the bike and very warm. In sub 10C temps I've been riding around for 2 hrs or more wearing just a thin cotton t-shirt under the jacket (with the detatchable lining in place) and felt perfectly warm enough. It is very practical too with plenty of pocket space. I'm now considering buying the matching trousers.
Gary Proctor: Mr
I rode to Motolegends in a good jacket by a famous Italian brand, but with two base layers on underneath I was chilled when got there (approx 45 mins ride) I bought the Bering Yukon laminate jacket as it was a great fit (XL for my 6' 4" 45"chest frame) and it fit great. I rode back with it on and was as warm when I got home as I was when in the shop before I left. This is a fabulous jacket that does what it says and much more. Highly recommended
