The Helstons Lady boot is an eight-eyelet ankle boot that is somewhat taller than most ankle boots. It has a slightly raised heel, but that does not impede rideability. It is made entirely from calfskin. The boot has a waterproof membrane, but the leather has also been waterproof treated. Inside, the boot is also totally calfskin lined. The boot is laced, but there is a zip up the inside of the boot to make it easier to get them on and off. There are ankle protectors on both sides, but the toe and heel areas are also reinforced with strong counters. You also get an added leather panel for the gearchange.

Little lady Jane: Gorgeous
I love these boots! I have them in a size 4 37, at first they felt quite snug, and tight across the front. Giving me a red mark. I spent time walking around, to break them in. However after walking around the local shops, blisters formed on the back of my ankles. Feeling like maybe I should have bought the next size up. I persisted and wore them pillion. To my delight they now feel perfect. They have scratched a bit from the footrest. I would highly recommend them, even if it takes time to break them in. They are beautifully made, the tread isn't very thick, only time will tell how long they last. I hope its a long time!
