Helstons Hunt jacket Product Information

The Helstons Hunt jacket is a classically-styled, mid-length, four pocket, leather jacket very much in the mould of Belstaff’s Turner jacket. The leather is a 0.9/1.1 mm cowhide that has been oiled and waxed for added suppleness, but also to give the jacket an authentic used and worn patina. It comes with side adjusters and more pockets than you will ever need. The jacket has a membrane, although in truth this is incorporated more for windproofing than waterproofing. For warmth, the Hunt has a removable, thermal liner. You also get CE armour in the shoulders and elbows, as well as in the back. Compare the Hunt with the Belstaff, and you will be amazed just how much you get for so little.

The chart is quite accurate, but you should be aware of the fact that with its thermal liner and heavy back protector in place, the jacket is going to feel quite tight when you first put it on. Over time the leather will give, and the jacket will become more comfortable. If you order one size larger than you would normally, the jacket may well feel a little more comfortable when you initially put it on. But if you were then to remove the thermal liner and back protector for summer riding, it might well then feel too large.

Høgni: Very good leather jacket

The Helstons Hunt jacket is the best motorcycle leather jacket Ive ever had. Also the warmest jacket I have tried. I drive between 6 degrees celsius to max 14 in the summer. There is a minus with the jacket, it is the armor in the elbow, it does not side as it should, 2-4 cm too low. Replacing it with a D3O Ghost, it does not irritate as much as the original.

leather jacket of all time. Really comfortable, stylish and practical - loads of pockets, zip-up neck that is the best I have come across, decent length, excellent set of armour and waterproof liner. It is very dark brown in colour and I love it. Worth every penny. The usual excellent service from Motolegends.
