This is a the latest version of the Ace Legende jacket from Helstons. It’s a jacket that is produced exclusively for Motolegends. It is essentially an upgraded version of the longstanding Ace Vintage. It is made from a softer, and better quality, Italian leather. This leather has been ‘tumbled’ or ‘washed’ to give it a slightly beaten up appearance. In accordance with our request, it sits shorter at the front, and longer at the back. For better breathability, the jacket is not equipped with a waterproof membrane. The top pockets have also been turned into vents. Instead of a removable thermal liner, the Ace Legende has a fixed Outlast lining. As a free upgrade, we here at Motolegends fit this jacket with D3O’s Ghost armour in the elbows and shoulders. There are lots of other nicely detailed features on this jacket; suffice it to say that it is probably one of the most sophisticated leather jackets we have ever offered. It’s also available in a very dark brown.

- YKK nickel zips, with tiny 'garage' pockets to tuck the zip pull away

Just worn the jacket for a coupe of outings, one a decent run over the Yorkshire Moors to Whitby and back, a couple of hundred miles in mixed weather. Supremely comfortable, outstanding quality Italian leather. Nice features include the front pocket vents and the secondary inner zip allowing you to ride with the jacket unzipped but not, if you get what I mean. Purchased in the sale so a proper bargain at a touch under three hundred quid. A very happy chap, not wearing a cap

Ive only had the jacket about 2 weeks and except for work have made only 120 mile trip. Extremely happy with it. The leather is soft a very supple. It feels heavy until you wear it then it very comfortable. Except for the poppers on the cuffs which another reviewer mentioned. It fits great. I bought a medium and it fits perfectly

Beautifully made jacket. Lovely leather and well put together. Practical with good number of pockets. Went one size up and fits well. Relatively warm with good adjustment on waist and wrists. Could do with more adjustment on neck though. Overall, I have been wanting one of these for years and Im not disappointed.

Jacket arrived today - first impressions! Gorgeous piece of leather, perfectly constructed and some great features. Dropped backshort front is effective at keeping lower back covered comfortably. Perfect fit on me using size chart. One thing and this goes for many brands, the two tightest press studs on the wrists are superfluous - simply too tight to fasten on my very girly i.e. small sized wrists, even with no gloves. Waist adjustment works well. Absolutely happy with the Ace Legende, though which is fortunate as the Aus duty and GST pushed the cost including back protector well into four figures in A$! Finally, thanks to the Motolegends team for advice pre-order, super fast delivery and secure packaging!
