Forma Legacy Dry boots in black Product Information
The Legacy Dry seems to have everything you might want or expect from a mid-priced ankle boot.
The upper of the boot is made from a full-grain ‘vintage’ leather, although we’re not quite sure what ‘vintage’ means. There’s an impressively strong toe box. There are pucks to protect both ankles, and a super-hard counter in the heel.
The boot has a waterproof membrane. There’s a zip up the inside to make the boot easier to get in and out of. The Legacy Dry looks as though it is Goodyear welted, but it’s actually not. The outsole has the look of a Commando sole, but again it’s not the real thing, although it is replaceable.
The Legacy Dry is a very smart-looking bike boot. It doesn’t have the grungy look of something like the now-defunct TCX X-Blend, but over time it will certainly develop its own patina. We can’t fault it. There are perhaps better boots out there, but you will pay a lot more for them, but this boot has everything you would want, and the price seems very reasonable.
It comes either in brown or black.
