Daytona Traveller GTX boots in black Product Information
In most respects, the Traveller GTX is pure Daytona. It incorporates all the elements that you would expect to find in a Daytona. So we are talking about a supple, hydrophobically-treated cowhide chassis. A Gore-Tex sleeve lining. An adjustment system that allows you to create more volume in the calf region. Two full length zips. Two storm flaps. A Neoprene cuff at the top of the shaft. A gearchange pad. And an anatomically-shaped, climactic insole. Concertina pads front and back. A reflective insert in the heel. A non-slip touring sole. And so, in all these respects, the Traveller is pretty similar to the Roadstar and Travelstar.
When it comes to its protective elements, the Traveller is also similar to the other two boots. That is to say ankle protectors padded on the inside with open-cell foam. A shinbone protector, again padded with latex foam. A plastic, re-inforced inner sole that houses a hot-dip, galvanised steel shank.
There are three respects in which the Traveller differs. With a shaft height of 34 cm., the shaft of the Traveller is 2 cm. taller than the Travelstar, and 4 cm. taller than the Roadstar. So, notionally, it’s the most protective boot in the Daytona range.
Because both zips on the Traveller are full height, the Traveller is also probably the easiest touring boot in the range to get in and out of.
There’s something else the Traveller has that other Daytona boots don’t have. And that’s a size 51!
So, if you want the best motorcycle boot money can buy, you buy a Daytona. If you want the best Daytona, you buy the Traveller. Of course, as you would expect, the Traveller is not inexpensive. In fact, as you would expect, it’s the most expensive Daytona in the range. But really, why wouldn’t it be?

ANS: Best Daytonas
Ive owned various Daytona boots, but these are by far the easiest to put on and take off, and also offer greater shin protection. They are also the most comfortable Daytonas Ive owned.
ANS: Best Daytonas ever
Ive owned several different models of Daytona boots, and these are the most comfortable pair Ive ever had, and so easy to get on and take off. Highly recommended.
