Bering Freeway trousers in grey / blue Product Information
As is usually the case, the Freeway pants mirror the freeway jacket in most respects. So you get the same fabric mix of a cavalry twill material and Softshell. You get Level 1 armour in the knees and hips. A drop-liner membrane. A removable thermal liner. Vents on the thighs. An elasticated waist belt. Enough pockets. Longish zips at the hem to accomodate taller boots. And so on.
But there is an issue with these pants, as there is with every Bering pant we have ever come across. And it’s that they come in only leg length. And what that means is that they will only work on perhaps 50% of motorcyclists. We are all proportioned differently. But if you’re below 5’. 7” or over 5’. 11’, you might have a problem.
Now Bering has a slightly cockamamie system that enables you to fold the leg up, and Velcro the excess material to the inside of the pant. It kind of works, but frankly these days you shouldn’t have to resort to DIY alterations to get a motorcycle pant to fit properly.
